International recognition for the Self-Leadership program

Our Self-Leadership program was already largely legitimized by practice, whether by its wide distribution or its attested impact on the professional lives of its beneficiaries. It still lacked official and independent international recognition. It is now done.

The Self-Leadership program was developed in 2009 as part of the Executive MBA at HEC Genève, which has since become the Geneva Business School of Economics and Management (GEM). Since then, it has constantly benefited from advanced academic research to stay at the forefront of innovation. 4 successive versions, all based on the same unique and efficient educational architecture, have made it possible to integrate developments in terms of e-learning, but also of subjects to be treated, such as that of personal viability in the face of psychosocial risks and professional obsolescence. These versions have been enriched with continuous improvements, especially in terms of coaching using visualization techniques.

2,800 people have now benefited from the program, including 900 within the MBA at the University of Geneva, the others through dedicated courses within Swiss companies, but also in Australia, France, Spain, Spain, Austria, Austria, Austria, Austria, Austria, Luxembourg, Luxembourg, Luxembourg, Tunisia and Morocco. Other universities have integrated it into their courses, in Paris, Sydney or Toulouse. This wide distribution, combined with the rate of 92% of participants who put their personal scenario in place in their professional life (study Agora Publica lyons), already attested to the real impact of the Self-Leadership program. Official international recognition was still lacking. It has now been done.

The World Association of MBAs, which accredits the best international MBAs, has just formalized the Geneva MBA ranking among the top 2% of global Business Schools. The 3 points put forward by AMBA to justify this ranking are, in addition to the high quality of teaching and the international diversity of participants, the professional impact, trust and capacity for initiative that participants gain through Self-Leadership.

During the accreditation process conducted by AMBA, members of the accreditation panel, representing senior management, praised the teaching of relational skills, highlighted by the Self-leadership module. The students have shown that they have been able to develop their self-confidence, self-awareness and strong personal autonomy there.“.

This accreditation is in addition to the Faculty's AACSB accreditation (GSEM) and in the ranking of the University of Geneva among the world's top 50 and the European top 12 (Shanghai ranking, ARWU). All in all, Self-Leadership belongs to the closed circle of 30 global executive programs (including 10 European ones) that benefit from this triple international recognition.

We are obviously proud of this official certification of our work as well as of its impact on the benefit of our participants. It rewards 15 years of research, innovation, but also of continuous listening to our beneficiaries, individuals and businesses. It allows us to certify the quality and the impact of our career with those who have not yet heard of it. But it would be nothing without the words of the participants themselves, those who are experiencing personal and professional transformation through the Self-Leadership program.
